ANNUAL SPORTS FESTIVAL - 2023
Devi Academy Senior Secondary School's 33rd Annual Sports Festival, held on January 20, 2024, was a vibrant celebration at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research. National Rowing champion, Ms. Ranjana K, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, warmly welcomed by Ms. R. Jeyalekshmy and Principal Mrs. K.C. Umamaheswari. The event kicked off with an enthusiastic March Past featuring all four house contingents, setting the energetic tone for the day.
Students showcased their athleticism in events like the 100m sprint, 400m race, and long jump, while also impressing with captivating drills and Yoga displays. Ms. Ranjana K and Mrs. R. Jeyalekshmy honored the winners with prizes, adding to the excitement of the day.
Appreciation was extended to all involved, with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Academic Supervisor Mrs. V Srimathi. The festivities concluded with a serene retreat and the harmonious rendition of the National Anthem, marking a memorable day of camaraderie and sportsmanship.
